Nicky`s in Wrentdam

Friendly staff and nice family style place. Favorite thing were the onion rings.

I've been going to Nicky's since I was a kid. It is always consistent with awesome staff and great food! It gets real busy for breakfast on the weekends but the line moves really fast. Value wise, you find a better restraunt! Call ahead for daily specials and eat in or take out! If not stop by for an icecream cone or sundae, they have a good selection of flavors! Keep an eye out for one of the owners Peter; he loves to get his picture taken!

This was my first time coming so I had to post a review. Ok I got the fisherman platter and the food was good. The only problem I had was that for $25 I would have liked more then two shrimp 🍤. One more thing the coleslaw could be better. In the end I will continue to eat here.

We had a couple of hot dogs with french fries today. Hot dogs were toasty warm, crispy crunch to the first bite in the well toasted roll with onions and mustard. The French fries were plentiful and perfectly fine and satisfying. The lemonade was tart and sweet. We followed with a small cup ( which seems quite generous for a "small") of Homemade Chocolate Peanut Cup IceCream, my husband added strawberries with hot fudge sauce.....YUM!

I met a friend for lunch today, we both have been talking about having a lobster roll. Nicky's has a delicious good size lobster roll with FF and onion rings. The food was outstanding. The server was also outstanding. We will be returning soon and we will let family and friends know about our experience.

What happened to this place? Nikky's used to be one of my favorite restaurants, my parents would bring me there all throughout the 00 - 10's and I remember the food being great, now everything is very clearly cheap store bought frozen stuff that is made infinitely worse by not cooking it properly. Store bought frozen junk by itself isn't the worst thing in the world but charging restaurant prices for it really puts the nail in the coffin, I mean seriously $26 for 2 meals a drink and an extra side of fries that came straight out of the super market down the street and right into the fryer at Nicky's isn't worth it.Nicky's was already a rare occasion for me and it just became rarer as I'm definitely never buying food from here again.

Fresh fish cooked to order. Perfect flavor. Large portions. Went to celebrate our daughter s up comong wedding. She was very impressed w the food.

Cute little dinner just off the road that's quite comfortable. Nothing flashy about this place but the food and the service are awesome. Counter and probably 20 tables around the place. Menu isn't massive like IHOPs or another breakfast chains. Can't wait to get back here again!

Clean, comfortable and the prices are good. You absolutely get what you paid for. We had fish and chips, burgers and a club. Everything was on point and delivered hot and quickly. The server was quick and professional. We didn't have ice cream but the selections seemed like a good variety.

Excellent food & prices service was great too.
